Blended Iced Mocha

Add the coffee mixture, chilled milk, chocolate syrup, and ice cubes to a blender.

Blend until smooth and frothy. Pour into a tall glass, then add the vanilla ice cream and your preferred toppings.

Kift’s Tips

  • Use chilled milk so the ice melts more slowly.

  • Brew the coffee slightly stronger because the milk, ice, and ice cream will soften its flavour.

  • One shot of espresso can be used instead of instant coffee.

  • Adjust the chocolate syrup and sugar according to your preferred sweetness.

  • Use whole milk for the creamiest texture.

  • Chocolate or coffee ice cream can replace vanilla ice cream.

  • Add a small pinch of salt to enhance the chocolate flavour.

  • Chill the serving glass before preparing the drink.

  • Add the ice cream immediately before serving so it remains firm on top.

  • For a dairy free version, use oat, soy, or almond milk with dairy free ice cream.

Storage Instructions

Iced Mocha with Ice Cream is best enjoyed immediately after preparation.

The mocha milk mixture can be prepared without ice or ice cream and stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

Shake or stir the mixture well before serving.

Add fresh ice and ice cream only when ready to drink. Do not store the completed drink because the ice cream will melt and the ice will dilute the mocha.
