Fill a tall glass with ice cubes, pour in the cooled cocoa mixture, and add another 100 ml of chilled fresh milk. Stir well and serve immediately.

Kift’s Tips

  • Mix the cocoa powder with hot water first to prevent lumps.

  • Use unsweetened cocoa powder so you can control the sweetness.

  • Add the honey after the milk has warmed and avoid boiling the drink.

  • Adjust the honey according to your preferred sweetness.

  • A small pinch of salt helps enhance the chocolate flavour.

  • Whole milk creates the richest and creamiest texture.

  • Oat milk, almond milk, or soy milk can be used for a dairy free version.

  • Add a small pinch of cinnamon for a warm, spiced flavour.

  • Use dark cocoa powder for a deeper chocolate taste.

Storage Instructions

Honey Vanilla Cocoa is best enjoyed immediately after preparation.

The prepared cocoa can be stored without toppings or ice in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

Reheat gently in a saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently. Do not allow it to boil.

For the iced version, shake or stir the refrigerated cocoa well before pouring it over fresh ice.
